Anthony Kim basks in player respect at Sawgrass
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida (Reuters) - American Anthony Kim
has reveled in the congratulatory messages and respect given to
him by his peers since winning his maiden PGA Tour title at
last week's Wachovia Championship. Long touted as one of the
game's best young talents, Kim has buried a reputation for
being an arrogant player consumed by self-interest and is eager
to build on his revamped status.

| Maggert withdraws from Sawgrass after family tragedy
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida (Reuters) - American Jeff
Maggert pulled out of the Players Championship before Friday's
second round following the death of his brother in a plane
crash. Maggert, 44, withdrew on Thursday night, telling
tournament officials his brother Barry had been killed when his
single-engine aircraft crashed in Colorado mountains en route
to his son's college graduation.
